Integrative Counsellor and Specialist in Sign Language Counselling
Sarah is an experienced integrative counsellor and started her ongoing work here at the Turner Centre as a student before qualifying in 2015. She has worked for Suffolk Rape Crisis and continues to work for SignHealth, a charity supporting access to health care for profoundly Deaf people. With stage three CACDP signing skills she is able to offer counselling to people who use BSL.
Sarah has volunteered for CRUSE as a bereavement support volunteer for over a decade and has extensive experience of working with issues of bereavement and loss.
Her particular interests are in supporting people with histories of trauma, developmental and attachment issues, bereavement and those who struggle with depression and anxiety.
She holds a Diploma in Integrative Counselling, is an accredited member of BACP . Sarah is also a Certified Sensorimotor Psychotherapy practitioner.
