Psychodynamic Counsellor
Roy is a Psychodynamic Counsellor working at the Turner Centre in private practice, focusing on working with adults (18 and over). Roy has experience in helping individuals with stress, anxiety, relationship issues, family conflicts, trauma, abuse, and coping with grief.
Roy provides a warm, caring, friendly, and nonjudgmental space and time for clients to understand themselves to a deeper and wider extent to resolve the difficulties and challenges they are facing.
Roy is happy to provide his therapy in different languages, including English, Mandarin, Cantonese, and Japanese. Roy wishes to create a settling and familiar atmosphere for his clients by speaking their mother tongue.Roy, “Life sometimes brings us uneasy events and causes unbearable emotions that we cannot handle. Although it might feel immediate relief if we leave the emotion away from our minds, these unbearable emotions can only be resolved if we face them. He holds a MA from the University of Essex in Psychodynamic Counselling (the course is now renamed as “Psychodynamic Counselling and Psychotherapy”)
