Integrative Counsellor
Claire is a warm and experienced Integrative Counsellor based in private practice at the Turner Centre. She is an accredited member of the BACP, a status that goes beyond standard membership and reflects a verified level of training, client experience, and ongoing professional development. With over nine years of experience working with clients, you can feel confident you are in safe, qualified hands.
She works with individuals facing a wide range of emotional and psychological challenges, including anxiety, depression, burnout, bereavement and loss, childhood trauma, and relationship difficulties, whether romantic, friendships, or family. She also has a particular interest in working with attachment difficulties and supporting parents of neurodiverse children.
Before training as a counsellor, Claire built a rich and varied career. She began with a Diploma in Nursery Nursing, gaining valuable insight into early childhood development and attachment. She then spent over 16 years in the banking sector, where she developed a deep understanding of workplace stress, burnout, and the very human challenges people face in their professional lives.
This breadth of life and work experience means Claire brings a grounded, real-world perspective to her practice. Clients often find it easy to open up to her, knowing she understands that life can be complicated and that asking for help takes courage.
Claire holds a Diploma in Integrative Counselling. Claire is also an accredited member of the BACP.
