Integrative psychotherapist (adults and children above the age of 11)
Evis is an integrative therapist working with both children (11+) and adults. Before joining the Turner Centre, she provided therapy in the non-profit sector, gaining experience in both short-term and open-ended therapy with a diverse client base.
Evis aims to create a safe space where she can meet her clients where they are and explore their current circumstances compassionately and free of judgement. She understands that different issues require different approaches, and integrative therapy enables her attend to the whole person, working through thoughts, emotions, behaviours, and physiological responses. She draws from a wide range of methods, including Existential, Psychodynamic, Transactional Analysis, CBT, Gestalt, and Solution-Focused Therapy.
When working with children, Evis will first arrange an initial consultation (50 minutes) with the parent(s) before planning the next steps for the child or young person (under 16).
Evis is a registered member of the BACP and abides by its regulatory framework.
She holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Counselling and Psychotherapy from the University of East London. She also has a background in social sciences and communication, with both BSc and MA degrees in these fields. She also holds an enhanced DBS background check.
Fees: Individuals £50.
