Paul is a warm, approachable, and highly skilled Psychodynamic Therapist dedicated to helping adult clients navigate some of the most challenging times in their lives. Known for his down-to-earth nature and empathetic approach, Paul creates a calm and supportive environment where clients feel truly heard and understood.
Paul firmly believes that effective therapy begins with a trusting and secure relationship. He prioritises the client’s well-being, tailoring his practice to meet their unique needs and circumstances.
With extensive experience working with people from all walks of life, Paul has a particular focus on supporting members of the Military and Emergency Services, including Veterans. His deep understanding of the unique challenges faced by these groups, such as operational stress, trauma, and transitioning to civilian life, allows him to connect effectively with clients who have served. Paul’s commitment to this area is reflected in his work with a national charity supporting the armed forces and his passion for ensuring these communities have access to Psychodynamic Therapy. Concessions may also be available for veterans and those in the Military and Emergency Services.
Paul’s areas of focus include trauma, PTSD, anxiety, stress, anger, and relationship difficulties. Using a Psychodynamic approach, he helps clients explore unconscious patterns and past experiences, enabling them to gain deeper self-awareness and achieve lasting change.
Paul offers a safe, confidential space where clients can bring their anxieties, emotions, and experiences. He is dedicated to helping his clients find clarity, resilience, and a renewed sense of self.
As a Registered Member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), Paul adheres to the highest professional and ethical standards. He holds a Master’s Degree in Psychodynamic Counselling from the University of Essex and is committed to ongoing professional development to provide the best possible support to his clients.
