Person-Centred Counsellor

Sarah is a person-centred therapist who has worked with a wide range of clients who struggle with issues such as anxiety, stress, depression, bereavement, trauma, low self-esteem, difficult relationships, and life changing health diagnosis.

She also has substantial client experience helping clients who have been subject to domestic abuse both physical and mental. Sarah has undertaken integrative personal development where she understands working from a truly Person-centred stance is adapting the therapy to combine a more integrative stance if the client journey should require it. Sarah provides a warm and collaborative relationship where her clients can safely challenge unhelpful beliefs, problematic behaviour patterns, and current relationship issues, allowing her clients to understand and soften their inner critic. She understands that therapy isn’t about telling you how to live your life. It’s about having a therapist who can provide you with compassion, understanding , curiosity and empathy when it’s hard to access your own. Holding you in a space where you are able to take time and reassurance to work at your own pace whilst building a trusting and supporting relationship which allows you to grow.

Sarah is a MBACP qualified psychotherapist / counsellor with both a diploma and BA(hons) degree, in Counselling and Psychotherapy and is a Registered Member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP).

Sarah works with Adults and Young people aged from 13, with both individuals and couples and has also undertaken training with the charity’s for both Domestic Abuse and Terminal life diagnosis. Sarah offers concessions on a limited basis to allow as many people as possible to access a Therapeutic experience that is both beneficial and affordable. This will be reviewed on a case by case basis.
